Joseph made crowns for Frank and Jason. They fit amazingly well even without measuring.



Jason now weighs 9 lbs 7 oz.

A very special Thank YOU to Grandma who came out to help this past week. She spoiled us with her good cooking and mad cleaning skills. One day she even made with the kids, a castle, knights, and horses out of paper. a 3 dimensional castle I might add. very impressive.

Jason Emrys McQuade

Most of these photos are not new from facebook, but for those unfortunate /fortunate? few who do not belong, I'm adding them here to my blog.
Jason was born June 6th at 8:26 in the morning after a very intense but quick labor. I started having contractions at 6:00 am. I got out of bed about 6:20 no longer able to fall asleep in-between. Woke Frank up at 6:30; had him call the midwife. She showed up at 8:00 a.m. Upon her arrival I got out of the tub, climbed onto my bed and was told I was complete. My water broke while pushing. Out he came weighing 8 lbs 12 oz (a full pound bigger than my largest) Despite his large size (for me) I got away with just one tiny stitch. After the lovely afterbirth and bleeding stopping interventions, I'm feeling much better- especially now that my mother in law is here to take care of all of us.
