Welcome to Christmas morning at our house. Lots of wrapping paper, toys, and tears. Why tears you ask? We had lots of candy around the house that Christian kept snitching. The tears came after we forced him to spit out the entire roll of lifesavers he had stuffed into his mouth. He did this 3 times that day.... anyway back to the happy part of Christmas... toys and paper.Derek opening a toy snake..... speaking of which, Grandma do not look at the next picture! :)
Lorelei opening her guitar, and the boys with their legos they've been asking for since we went to visit their cousins in September.
Frank is thrilled that he's about to spend the weekend learning to transform all the transformers we got.
Opening a present from Grandma and Grandpa McQuade
playing with the prsent from Grandma and Grandpa McQuade. I asked him what he was playing.... it was the book of mormon characters vs the transformers.
I caught a rare super smile from Lorelei with the camera.
Sitting in Lorelei's new tent with her new sleeping bag.

I tried to upload other videos and it stopped working on me.

Happy Thanksgiving
This year we were lucky enough to visit some of our friends in Winston-Salem. Our kids played so well together back when Frank and their dad were in school. After 2 years without seeing each other, it took approximately 5 minutes to become reacquainted . They spent the next two days playing non stop. When we got home Saturday night we decided to set up the Christmas tree.
Jason's discovery of the tree.
And this picture is for my mom.

Picture Drought
Our camera won't close or focus now. So these are the last pictures I'll have for awhile. :(
Lorelei has opinions. surprise surprise. Here's how she wanted her hair done.
Face painting at a party.I just love Christian's grin. It's contagious.
Happy Birthday Lorelei! Our camera broke so this is the only picture we were able to get of her birthday (we did video it though). She had just woken up and is looking pretty groggy in this picture.

Quick Visit
My parents were on the east coast and kindly stopped by our house for a few days. My mom threw a quick family Halloween party. We made halloween necklaces, had halloween pancakes. The kids had fun decorating the house before Frank got home. We all had a good time.Derek showing off his hat making skills!
Frank isn't in this picture, but we did 4 haircuts on Saturday.
Jason already shows more interest than Christian in the TV.

Table Manners
Jason knows when the family is eating dinner and he's not there. He cries and cries until you bring him over. He's often a little fussy being held near the table; however, if you put him on the table like this he is one happy dude.

First Day of School
Joseph had a wonderful first day of school. Frank took him because 7:30 is too early in the morning for me to be up and about. I still consider myself a good Mom because I sent the camera with Frank and made him promise to take some pictures. After this picture Joseph asked Frank why he was still there.
Joseph says, "My first day of school was great. I got to make a puzzle. I met new friends. I like my new friends. I like Kindergarten."
